In Lightwave there is an area within the "object properties" window to add a custom "item shape" to geometry or null to make them easier to see and easier to select than a simple cross hair.

I have seen a coulple of examples in the content that came with Messiah: (Wile E. Coyote, Roadrunner, etc, from Passion Pictures.)
However, digging through the scene I can not for the life of me figure out where they came from.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

I have been looking into the armatures, but that is not exactly what I need.

to replace a null with an object, from the file menu go to multiply then replace and select the object. thats all u need to do.

hope that helps

Yeah, as Carl says they are just objects made in LW Modeller. In the coyote scenes they are found in the 'CoyoteSetupObjs' folder in Objects. :wavey:

Thanks guys.

I had a feeling that was the case, just wasn't sure.

Basically, you just create a library of these to pull from and you're in like flin, right?

That's good. I'm on it.
