hey there,

is it possible somehow with an operation to smooth out your mesh?

i'm not talking about subdivision or local subdivision, but something where you can smooth out your points with a slider. instead pulling poiints (when your mesh has some bumpiness after tweaking on details). maybe this is not possible, but i thought there would be something like that (similiar to the polygon reduction tool)...

?

RCTools has a nice smooth Op that you can use for this purpose. You should get RCTools anyway, cause it has several nice tools for use within XSI, and it's free !

RCtools will do in some cases, but it wont do for all Im afraid.. XSI4 has a relax mod included which will do what you are looking for. Mainly this function is referred to as Relax/tighten. :)
