This is a model I made a while ago for school.
It is my first attempt at a carmodel.

I had no blueprints, so the only reference I had was from bad pictures I found on the internet.

Made in 3D Studio MAX 6
Standard scanline renderer

After I had some comments on the textures, looking too clean, I added a dirtmap and smashed the headlight

Nice!

The one with the dirtmap applied and the trashed headlight is the best, in my opinion it could use some more dirt on the windshield, hood and roof. Also the chrome surrounding the windshield and the top of the bumper look a bit bright and too clean.

Did you also model the engine or did you just use a bitmap on the grid?

yes well, it's a car out of that period in time.
It's not really meant to be rendered in any black & white style, but now you mention it :)
