I have a model of a head that i have created blendshapes for, textured, has fur attached to it, and is all set up to animate. Only problem is that theres a lot of history on it and it lags alot when i try to animate it, so much so that its really hard to work with.
is there anyway i can delete all the parts of the history i dont want, but still keep the parts like the skinning and blendshapes on there, in hopes that it wont be such a strain on my pc's memory?
or as an alternative, any way i can animate with a less memory intensive model and then transfer the keyframes over to my current model? any tips or suggestions would be appreciated. thnx
