Hi, I use Softimage

1- I have very little experience working with textures and modeling for texture mapping. Are there tutorials that you would recommend?

2-I would prefer to merge all the pieces of my nurbs models. Is there a method of doing this in Softimage or merging nurbs models in a different application?

I have located a method of merging in Softimage with the SurfaceContinuityManager as indicated at

My models were not developed to work with this method is there a different program that can merge nurbs models with differing point numbers on the end of the patches.
