Hey all...

Here is my concept for the beast of burden. Now before everyone howls with laughter at my crappy sketch, understand that i model much better than i draw, and the final idea will be somewhat different. First off the harness sucks, and thats going to change...as well as some other things. Let me know what you think of the beast.

Well...36 views, and not a single reply. That means one of three things...either my sketch really sucks bad, or my idea sucks bad, or (and most likely) nobody cares about work unless its done by one of you bad ass artists (and you know who you are). Anyways, regardless...im going ahead with my project, and here's the first post.

Yo d_rhino, welcome to the challenge. I think your idea is pretty cool. A giant eye-beast definetly hasn't been done before for this challenge. That sketch isn't so bad (you should've seen mine :rolleyes: ). It looks like you're off to a good start. I guess the only thing I could suggest is to make the tail of the beast less blunted and more like the nerves that come off the back of the eye.

As far as replies, don't take it personally. It takes a while to start getting replies to the thread, and even then it's about 100-1 in the number of views vs. the number of replies. Just stick with it; you have a cool concept and a solid start on your modeling. I'll be keeping an eye on this one.

Thanks for the comments Z. I like the idea of the tail. I'll definitely try to incorporate that.
