I think its a really good concept. And great realisation from the sketch.

My only critique are the tail wings/Rudders. To me, they sort of mix in too closely to the propellas... Perhaps it will be easier to distinguish when you've textured it.

In any case, cool stuff! Now put this baby in a bathtub and let it rip :)

It looks really nice...G/J

The concept is by Scott Robertson, isn't it?

I can't believe you did that in rhino. I'm using rhino too but whenever I trie to fillet round surfaces like your boat things go wrong. I'm working on a robot with rhino now (http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?threadid=14351 but had to make a lott of alterations to avoid messed up fillets and surfaces.

Any tips for me?

at first thanx for comments,

@Protecta

u got right scetch is not from me. its Scott Robertson work... i just realize it in 3d

@HippieKiller

i like to work with surface-commands, like Loft, sweep, and co. modelling with Solids dont look really good, i created all surfaces only with Loft, and Sweep2Rails, then i match them together
here is a wireframe:

Surfacecount: 84

rendered with 90k Polygons

it looks smooth,good.
but for a machine model,i can give you some of my ideas.
1,give it enough details.
2,add something impotant for a machine,for example,a little part of engine,some rivets,some more pipes.
3, when texture it,bump is very importand

i think you've used brazil wrong...that render time is way to much... what are your settings and what type of system are you running?

great model by the way!

*Joril joins the praise*

really nice style, I especially like the 4 wings/fins on the nose and the whale-mouth grid.
Have you got any more works in the same style?
