Great!
You certainly get more definition than when i dabble in radiosity! The textures on the wall are excellent. One thing i did notice is that there is not much contrast between the wall and the floor?
Excellent image, makes me wanna go on holiday and sit in the sun!

I agree about the definition - I have the same problem! What settings did you use and how many lights?
Excellent image BTW!!!
Thanks!

Wonderful! It wouldn't surprise me if you told me it was a photo. Composition and texturing is excellent too.

Very nice image, I really like the texturing too, though one area confuses me,on the all over by the plant life it looks like vines but they are bumps in the wal texture which suggests they are cracks, but they seem too wide and the bump looks quite odd on the wall. Especially down in the bottom right in the light beam where it is most noticible.
yeah that freaked me out too, I just didnt want to say anything...

If all else fails and oyu see something like this yuse the ol' feedback sandwich, Compliment it, then make your critiques, and if possible a suggestion on how to fix it, then add another compliment.
EG the image looks fantastic , and if yo lowered the bumb on the cracks or vines there to make them a little more subtle, this would be a great illustrative image for a magazine.
I don't do it as much as I used to, but it usually gets the message across, and keeps people from thinking your an inconsiderate bastard who thinks there work is sh*t.
If I had added another compliment or positive statement at the end of my post there, it would have been a much better feedback sandwhich.
Just keep in mind if they here something negative off the bat they are likely to ignore you, and people tend to remeber the last thing said the most, so keep it positive, the middle is always the negative as it is the informative part of the conversation that the mind takes in easily and saves as information.
Love the composition
Might be my gamma but the speculars on the wood to me are a bit close to making the wood look borderline metallic, unless the wood is very high gloss and shiny :)

thanks to all Gianluca
a great picture. though i've found some tiny things tha look a bit strange.
kaiskai: i think the veins/cracks are huh....you know, that sort of plant which crawls up the wall...don't know the right word.
gianluca: most of the textures are way cool! you could try to rotate the chair on the left about 20 degree so the shadow might become more ineresting.
the jar on the table seems to have a slight moiree effect which you can avoid by using a higher aa-setting. lower bump-mapping might help, too.
the chairs look very interesting! that kinda outlined effect creates a painted feel.
really nice! i can't wait to buy the xl6 to xl8 update which hopefully will be available soon. then i can play around with radiosity. your picture makes me think i gotta work harder. great!

This look amazing.
I use Cinema myself, but this looks realy great.
I would love to get the file in my hands
You make a good point Kai, thanks for the advice... Yeah I really didnt mean it to be too negitive but when I looked back on it was a really moronic thing to say. I was mostly due to the fact that I had just a few more posts until I became a veteran lol... You should see some of the stuff I posted in the Maya board :) Sorry guys, Im just a really strange dumb ass. Dont worry too much though I think its getting better...
Dont worry dude....we all do that at some stage :)
If you are not sure about a reply you are writing, just ask yourself if someone said that to me how would I take it?...its usually a good measuring stick if you will :)
