Hey carn... nice reel.... I'll be at Siggraph as well pressing my wares as it were. What did you have to do to increase the bandwidth for your site? I have the same problem. No one can access my stuff because it's limited to a few k per sec.

ohh...well i think i already have one of the fastest providers you can get over here in germany....do you think the transferrate is to slow?

we should meet at the siggraph...
i will arrive on monday evening and stay until thursday. and than i will fly over to l.a. and stay for 2 weeks..

MAn i loved teh lil alien and mouse ship but it seemed he was looking more at the camera and not at the mouse or maybee its just me.

....mhhh...good point...maybe you get the impression because the little "guy" has no pupils?? i had in mind to add pupils but i simply run out of time....coz than i had to animate the pupils as well....animating the antenna was already a nightmare....

pah..no excuses...next time i will do it better... ;;))) promised... ;))

ya that probobly was it. He got big eyes. You could move the camera a lil to the left that might help but to render all that again lol.

no no...i wont touch that scene anymore...finished over...out... ;)))

i had different ideas how to simulate the "look-at" feature...animated highlights to simulate the pupils...or just simple map...or maybe some little spheres inside of his big red-eyes....

carnera, I was thinking about going but I got offered a job in sydney that starts pretty soon! I'm pretty excited. Anyway goodluck & do everything you can to get a copy of your reel into everyones hands even the guy selling hotdogs!...you never know...

heh actually im an australian, canadian & european community citizen, so that helped when it came to applying for places im sure. ive never lived in sydney (just brisbane) but its an awesome city. thanks for wishing me luck! but im sure everything is going to work out perfectly. check 'em out if you have a second... http://www.rsp.com.au
