Its been a while last time i worked with max.
how can i make a loft (fuse) for example dissapear
or a handwriting show up with a loft ?

Well, you could use the "Path Deform" modifier instead, and then just animate the percentage. I've used that for a fuse before.
If you want to use a loft, you could animate the sub-object shapes...
Give the path deform a try...works great.

that's it path deform, just rememberd i used to use it that way!
