i painted the figure with watercolor, then scanned it. then i fooled around in photoshop for the background.
the problem is to do a self portrait using unconventional materials. im saying that its unconventional-ish to print something, paint over it, and then scan it back in.
i think im going to print it on canvas paper and put it onto a board...or buy a stretched canvas, take the canvas off the board, print it, then re-attach the canvas to the board.
id appreciate any other ideas for an unconventional material.
