View Full Version : clearing unwanted objects

forgive me please. I'm a newbie.

I can not clear things after they have been created. For instance, I accidentally created more bones than I wanted on an object and I simply want to clear the unwanted bone.

Dumb question I know, but it's the question.

Also, is there a way to select nulls within the viewport? I can only make selections by clicking in the item list.

To delete items hit ' - ' on the number keypad, and to select items in the world view use middle mouse button.

on a laptop, can I just use the hyphen key? Or can I customize that command by retargeting it to a different key?

Are these commands listed in the manual? I'm trying to find them so I can reduce the number of idiotic questions I ask, but I haven't seen them in the documentation.
