-Pick-mask "Curve point", select were you want CV, then go to Edit Curves >>> Insert Knot

- If you want to add more CVs to a curve go to Edit Curves >>> Add points

p.s. Yay, I finally answered someones questions instead of viceversa:)

yeah, do just what OrestesMantra said

But I think you need to choose the Parm Points selection mask

handy hint: if you want to add multiple points then hold down shift + left click

where exactly is this "parm" or "mask" that your talking about?

A selection mask is just one of those phrases that describes a set of buttons and their actions.

A selection mask shows or hides different aspects of an object in component mode. The different selection mask buttons are the ones at the top of the window (the square, circle, +, ? etc etc)

To select Parm points you need to turn on the Parm point selection mask.

Thats the button at the top with a black circle on it. Obviously you need to be in component mode to see the button.

I'm not exactly sure what a parm point is though. :D

oh and that'll be 'vertice' then as opposed to 'vertacy'.
and its actually 'vertex' for single and 'vertices' for multiple.

Huh? You said 'vertices' the first time... or did you make a typo the second time around
