This is my second step of painting. I put the girl on a "horse", so that she became one with it. Her body is old and no much longer able to live. So it's like a litte symbiose between the mechanical part and the humen brain. Neithe the "horse" nore the human beeing could live allone.

I searched for a background to create a better atmosphere, but I found no good result, I think.

GREAT Picture!!!! :applause: :applause: :applause:
I think it will be ranked in the upper field.
And it doesnt matter that you left the creature without background.

closest reference for the beast you found was "horse" .. lol! EEK! lol!
why the chain and the pole ?

-Thank you guys for watching my picture!!!-
...the thing is you reallly need the perfected background to understand the cause of the chain. In my earliest considerations I planed a complexer constellation with more "acters". The beast-girl stand in front under the grave of her husband, stretched her hand to his fingers, but never reached one (couse of the cains). So the chains should work as a symbol for the abyss between the >normal-human-death< and the >never ending-machine-"death"<, which divides this people till to the end of all days. They'll never come together again, even not after the death...(very religious thing!)
hope I could describe what I thougt and you could understand a little bit :D
So good luck for your painting Squibbit !!! best wishes!!!

I like your choice to have removed the background you put in, although I wish I could have seen the image you described in the final. The character is very stong, and I have to say the way you altered the horse is creepy and interesting! I also like that you used (at least I think) hand done tools and left in some of their texture as well as the computer stuff. Good work, and Good luck in the voting.:scream:
