I think so. Mash, one of Maxon's tech guys, said he thinks it's a bigger leap forward than v.5 to v.6, which is quite a statement. Maxon has said that it will include a completely new bone system, which is certainly long overdue.

Hopefully they don't just mean the layout!?!?!? New bones would be good, maybe a few more sliders around the place instead of numeric input would be cool too.......can't wait.

What is Siggraph?! It's the world's biggest computer graphics trade show, with representation from every major player in the 3D world and lots of smaller vendors as well. It's held in a different city every year. This year it's in San Antonio and it starts next Tuesday.
