View Full Version : Fish-eye?
Ultimatum 05-23-2004, 08:32 PM Hi!
Is there a way to achieve a "Fish-eye"-lens effect with LW?
It´s been very much used in skate movies and Jackass productions etc.

a sphere with the refraction turned up... but the rendering takes a while... u could also fool around w/ widening the camera angle (how a fish-eye lens works)

Probably best to do this as a post-process effect.
You could map your rendered animation to a multi-faceted plane and use the pole tool to warp it into a fisheye lens shape. Place that in front of a camera and re-render. I suggest you make your original render 2x the needed resolution so that it holds up when deformed.
