Well, the blurred one is *much* too blured. The second one's much better.
But actually, if I was the guy you'd like to be hired by, I wouldn't really want to watch your reel... the composition's somewhat boring for my taste. No eyecatchers (If you plan the writing on it to be the eyecatcher, then don't show us the thing without them).
Let the viewer see a little bit more of the things in the containers. Backlit them, that the whole scene gets a green touch.
The flor, the base of the containers, the thing that holds the screen all need more work on the shaders.
Well, that sounds really hard now and I sure couldn't make it any better... hmm... I hope it helps you to get better...

Unlike the other guy I personally like the composition and layout of the scene, but there are a few things i would change from the viewer aspect.
Oh and the blurring seems to take away from the scene more than needed to make it stylized. Also as a viewr I would think you were trying to hide something more than I would think about the stylistic aspect.
1) Modelling : More details need to be put in to the more important aspects of the scene that should jump out at you first. More details should be put into the extra on the Cryo-Tubes, out side and in, such as tubing and so forth. Same with the operating table, make it look like its been recently used and so forth.
Also throw some extra's into it, like scalples or operating untesils on the table, lights or tempature gauges on Cryo-tubes. Make floor a bit more interesting to.
2) Textures : I would spend a bit more time on making things stand out a bit more, everything seems to blend in too well at the moment, maybe dirty up the textures of the cryo tubes near the seams of the metal and plexi-glass objects.
Basically trying to use the textures to make everything look like it was made from the same material and everything made the area look very dull, Change things up a bit.
3) Camera angle : At the moment it is at the eye level of a child and takes away from the scene, on the basis that you would never shoot a scene with the camera there sow hy would you take a picture that way, if you get what i mean. Also the angle the camera is at gives to much of a dull one point perspective, which doesnt give much to the scene.
So I would move the camera up and over to the left and point it more to the left side of the centre tube to give more dynamics to the scene.
4) Lighting : Personally I really like the lighting but am not sure what it will be like when you turn the scene around but backlightingthe tubes is a great idea and maybe put a light above the operating table like they normally have and having it lit would make for a good scene, not sure try it out.
But keep up thee good work. Hope to see the finished product. Hope I can start to make something as good looking as that sooner than later.
Congrats on finishing,
Stefano

if this is just the background fine but whebn you and txt and stuff you need to ad alot more interest to the image at the moment it has no focus point.
I would like something less bland in the forground to ad interest
