Hey all... Now that the rumour of render-size limitation in Foundations has been dispelled I am seriously starting to budget out my XSI finances.

The main things I am trying to track down are maintenace costs for Essentials & Advanced (foundations is $799 per year) and a full online breakdown of what is included in the maintenance program. I have a good idea of what it entitles, but I am looking for the specifics.

The reason I am not contacting a reseller to get that info atm is because there is no local reseller for me (as in Rhode Island/Connecticut/Massachussets) and because my waking hours atm generally do not lend to resellers business hours. I would like to be able to see this info online so I can give it a thorough look-see.

Anyone have some valid info they can share w/ me or a link.

TY

I just read the the good folks at Softimage has removed the render-size limitation for XSI Foundation.
Good news !!
On the other hand I dont understand the policie regarding the missing scop`s. Without it you wont be able to do advanced character-rigging..

You got that right!!!

But maybe the version is a bit cripled without it! Just my opinion anyway.

The student price for 3.5 with a free upgrade to Advanced v4.0
right now is insane- $289.95 on studica!! This seems too good to be true, I e-mailed my contact there to see whats up- my break on the free upgrade to Zbrush2 from there was great but this deal with Softimage is fantastic (and I will be taking advantage of it:drool: )

Actually the student price for version 4 Advanced is $295, if that's what you're thinking of.
