For references, I utilized a whole bunch of things, but primarily it has been the tiys I have. YAMATO 1/60 valkyrie, and YAMATO 1/48 valkyrie. Used these specifically because they can transform and look good in all modes.

What you SHOULD use is the HASEGAWA plans that comes with their jet fighter plastic model kit. I used that primarilly for determining textures. It's not the best to use for a transformaing model since it's proportions are made for specific modes.

nice modeling. Does everything actually work for the transformation? It would be nice to see an animation of it transforming as well.

Everything works. Trying to get transformation animation going. It's based on an actual transforming toy so I tried to make it work as much as possible.

DOWNLOAD this file to your drive . If you play it through a web browser it's gonna be slow and choppy.

the animation goes really fast, could you slow it down a little? It looks good though. nice job, do you have a wire?

Very nice Keep up the good work ...

Have you seen the Larger version of the YAMATO valkyrie?

I have. When I started modelling this thing, all I had was the smaller YAMATO ones... now I have 3 of the bigger ones, and when I got one, that was when my model really started to get better. Once I got a better ref. In my opinion, it is one of the greatest toys of our time, and defintely the best veritech toy ever made.

Realized the images were stretched because of the settings I used to render it. Fixed it, these are better sized now.

You can get em here:

bigbadtoystore.com
valkyrieexchange.com
hobbylinkjapan.com
hlj.com

look for yamato 1/48, where yamato is the manufacturer.

Now, if you wanna just build one, use these plans here.
