Hi. I'm pretty new at mapping so I hope you can help me with this one.

I'm using a planar mapping for the bottom and a cylindrical mapping for the faces on the top. There are some faces that are'nt mapped. I moved the uv:s around and scaled them a bit to make them fit within the 1.0x1.0 area in the UV Texture Editor. Can that be it?

The UVs in maya.

The map with the UV coords visible.

The final result. ¤&#(#&¤("
Why do I get this messy result?

Looks like you have accidentaly changed some values in the Place2D-node, the one *after* the file-node in the render tree...maybe rotation and stuff.
