Hello folks!

Here's my latest work, just wanted to get some comments and critiques.

This is an old surreal cottage set in the middle of nowhere. It's a 360 degree viewable environment and is currently running about 10,000 triangles total. The cottage is meant to look stylized with a realistic touch.

Compared to the size of the front door, I think your roof tiles are too big as well as the siding. Cellar doors may be a bit big as well.

What engine is this being used in? Most of the current 3D games can support much more than 10k polys in an area.

Post some wires? Seems like loads of polys for just a box with a roof and some grass.

its looking REALLY good
can we see some wires though? your house looks detailed with the textures alone, where are the 10,000 polys? Im sure loads could be taken off.

Thanks for the suggestions! Here's an update:

I managed to take the poly count down to 8,154 triangles. Most of the bloat was coming from the ground plane and a few objects that weren't contributing to the scene.

To answer NeoNautica's question: This is just a piece for my portfolio, I didn't design it to go into any particular game engine.

Thanks again!

Nice work.

I really like the look of the vegetation.

Ok, the above images have been updated. Still tweaking the shadows, but I've made the plants less black.
