I like the model, no crits there... only one with the scene, which you may not have focused any on anyway...

All I would do is this for the sake of simplicity.... add a light with about a 110% strength, with soft or area shadows (very important) and fiddle with that. Usually that makes a huge difference... just a bit of advice!

looks good. I would suggest a bit of chamfering on the main body, but other than that, nice stuff.

To me it looks like it needs a bit of contrast.If you have P shop or other bitmap app etc open it in there and try {PS} image adjust auto contrast and see if it pulls the speculars in line a bit tighter :).If it works go back to C4D and try Adrians suggestion.
