Hi yall :)
I have a problem with the scale-tool in maya.
When i have paranted objects to a modell, why does not the objects scale to the same size? One object scale faster then the others.. ???
Can someone drop some light on this question ?

You should group them before scaling.

when transforming parented objects make sure you pick only the top node in your hierarchy or you will get double transformations.

either using selection masks (select by hierarchy, root) or selecting the root node in hypershade.

It sounds like you haven't froeze transforms on all of your geometry.

-Ungroup/Unparent all of your geometry.
-Freeze transformations on all of the pieces.
-Reparent/Regroup everything.

That should fix any dirty transformations that are in your hierarchy.
