erm...i know wee bit and basics of java...and i do understand that most games are dont in c/c++ ... but lets say i wanna learn to do mobile games...wat are the stuff i need?

besides a java compiler and java knowledge...

any recomendation for java tutorials for gaming or someting?

1 more question...is java gamin the same mobile gaming...cos they are both on 2 diff platform..

You will need a J2ME development kit either from nokia or from Sun. Both are free, and come with the emulators you need to run/test your games.

I did a bit of development using J2ME and the tutorials on the Java.Sun.Com site were sufficient for what I was doing. Actually, there was little info available elsewhere.
