this is a reply of my old color correct question thread . beej asked me to show result .i posted a new thread because i thought no body may look old thread.

ok i am new to composition and combustion. not quite new to 3d.

im feeling well its my first try.

you may not take it serioulsy.

the oven image came with max.
dont pay itenstion to shadow of plane its a fake not 3d.
i did color correction by finding(using) most used color inside oven.
and tinting a little to that color
i dont to know how to workwith gamma/gain and brightness/contrast things.
i tried to add right amout of blur and grain.

there are some artifacts with alpha. but ok

note : jpg compression removed some grain detail

Not bad... I would however seriously soften that shadow, especially the edges. The color matching seems to be working pretty well though. :)

ya it looks pretty good apart from the shadow. i know you said to ignore it but its really distracting. it falls in the wrong direction (the light enters from the doorway to the oven). also the internal light should cast a second shadow in a slighty different angle too (check out the arm thingies of the motor that turn the plate).

other than that it looks ok. nice one bruva...
