Here is a project that I finished recently. The title is A Break in the Clouds. The end result consists of six prints and a video.

Thumbnails of some of the prints, it wouldn't let me post them all:

Go here for the rest (6 total) and high-res versions:

And the video, only about 1 minute long:
High Quality 9.6MB (http://www.solarflarestudios.com/CG/posterclouds/cloudsHIGH.avi)
Low Quality 2.7MB (http://www.solarflarestudios.com/CG/posterclouds/cloudsLOW.avi)

The tree was modeled in Blender. The rendering was done in Lightwave. Comment away!

nice concept, Although there are 3 things to look at. 1.The background doesn't seem to be finished 2. the leaves need texture and variation 3. I was waiting for there to be movement. Everything is too still for a video especially for a 1 min and 7 sec video. Aside from all these you have a beautiful sky and grass

I think you're trying to make everythign dark and only a small portion of lights shining through the clouds. But the contrast really isn't enough. your shot on the left, the dark ares are almost as bright as where the light shines. Your whole clip looking like you're just showing me the tree from different angles. The tree is too still like mentioned above. And it's too obvious that it's a CG tree (MAX/VIZ plugin tree is it?)

Thanks for your comments. The tree was generated with an L-System script in Blender.

The stills are the project, the video was an afterthought. This was made for a class project in which I had to present it. I couldn't print the images big enough so I put them together in a video.
