I really like your idea but I think the pose needs to have more impact. Right now he has little to no power and authority. Maybe also crop the image, make him fill the frame more. He needs to be more "in your face".
Another suggestion is instead of making his clothes black and white, add some blood red and dark desaturated blue parts. Maybe as pinstripes on the jacket?
Also his thumb should go down the side of his middle finger more, right now it's in a very unnatural position...
I think this has potential to be really cool. Another thing I'm curious to know is what is your purpose for doing this? Is their a point you want to make? If so, then really use that! Right now it's not saying much.
Great modeling BTW

Yes, you are right, it needs more intensity. I'm doing work samples for an artschool and right now my time is running out, suppose to be redy on monday. The purpose is to use it as a front cover on my upcoming portfolio.
I'm thinking about a text to the picture "I WAN'T YOU FOR HI-TECH.NU" but that's if the result is good enough. Yes, the thumb, see your point.. I was about scanning my black jacket with white stripes. I'm also working on some buttons and a band around the hat with my logo on. Maybe an untied bow in red hanging around the neck?
Well, thanks for your advice, helps alot!

Looking good so far! Nice idea!
The distance between the lips and the nose is to long. Maybe you can improve that a bit.
Also his hand is wired... try to hold your own hand the way he does and you'll notice what I mean. The fingersegment under his thumb is to long and the thumb should normally lay on the next one.
Keep it up!
