Ok just curious if there is a way to bake vertices for export in general.

Ie you do a animation with cloth for example and want to export
the animated geometry ... not the textures .
I am interested in exporting to c4d but if anyone has links on
how mabye to export to a game engine or other 3d apps I would enjoy the read.

Hope that makes sense.

Yes you can, I don't have any links to give you though I'm afraid.

Edit > Bake Simulation

That can bake just about anything! There are all sorts of options to bake to the vertices etc.

Thanks joz got it

So does anyone think poly trans is the best option for exporting animated vertices?

I remember someone mentioning you could export a .obj sequence.
[edit] i will probably just composite it if i cant find a easy export
option.
