ideas for the explores i the future the human didnot go as fast has star trex wanted us to belive in stead we move through space at 1/10 the speed of light and that is still a long time to move from one point to the other so the ones that to took the risk who wanted to see the wonder ,to explore to be the first gave up the flesh for the machine. for flesh only last for so long and the jouney takes a long time . this is my idea forget the flesh bring on the machine .nothing can and will stop u fom your dream .yuor human will to explore .so may god be with u on your jouney and hoe you return safely home thank you more concepts to come soon pulse the final is ready to up load

this is the captain on the bridge the other sketch has more detail soon to come the captain is pluged directly into the ship he/she and the ship are one being he can not leave ,he just look from is platfrom at the wonders he dreamed of seeing

I like your colorchoice so far. I'm not too crazy about the drawing on her side. but I really dig the idea of a robotic girl resting on top of this giant arm!
Have you thought about turning her towards the viewer a bit more ? so we get to her (faceless) face?

the frist thing i drew when i fdound out about the competetion it is the pilot ont the bridge looking out into space at the wonders

the chance i am talking about is my role in this competiton ,the works that i am seeing here far exceeds mine in both cocept a excecution ,apart from that im learning a lot from what im seeing so there is no lost only hope for the future :beer: :bowdown: :thumbsup:

The sketch detail of her haead looks really nice, i like the little PCB circut layout on her neck, it would look great as a texture if done right.:thumbsup:
As for painting tips, i wish i could help you, its all very new to me too, i figure its just best to stick with what you know will work. Your older concept work looked great and you used really simple colour schemes, i really liked them as they had a style of their own...Keep trying you eventually hit on something and it will look slick, wish you luck.:thumbsup: :D
