Mmmmmm..... maybe im just getting old. You see, I am using split poly at lot at the moment, and keeping one eye on the poly I am splitting AND reading the value of the split in the lower left hand corner is a real pain in the ass if you have a lot of them to do.
I have looked high and low for a script that actually places the numeric value on the workspace just under the split tool... but as of yet have not found one. Personally, I think it would be a usefull addition to the toolset, but I cant script for toffee. Anyone up to the challenge?
