I have a highres model envoloped to the skeleton.

Now, i want to cut it into pieces and parent them to the skeleton. How do i cut it???

In Soft 3D. there has cut function for nurbs. very ez. jsut select the isoparm, and hit cut. anything simular in XSI?

If it's polygons then use Create>Poly. Mesh>Extract from Polygons.
If it's a nurbs either convert it to polygons or the answer is no.
