Well, it would appear that my earlier postings were among that pool of unfortunates that were lost in the hacker incident.. As a result, I'm reposting my Line Art.. (Hopefully this'll go smoothly as the site was hassling me earlier when I tried to put up images.)
And the updates shall be fast and furious as I'm putting in what I've already done, followed by the finishing touches that I'm putting on the image ATM. Comments are /greatly/ appreciated.

Messing around with the colour scheme for the bat. I actually like the way the tongue's turning out.

It's starting to take shape in this one. The background, of course, sucks - but I'm working on that. ;)

Well, this is pretty much it. Comments are very welcome.

Good start Crystal, I would make a somoother transition from the flesh tongue and the metal tongue. that way it looks as if it's part of the body and not just attached to the end to extend the tongue. Good luck and keep up the good work

Thanks guys. I appreciate the feedback. I'm going to play around with it a bit more, certainly taking your suggestion, Cliff. :) What does everyone think of the wings? Does the transparancy read?

Nice angle on the bat - I wouldn't have thought the wings are transparent though. Maybe some sort of background you can see through the wings might help?
