That looks really professional. I don't see any problems with it at all. Not sure why it's "anime". It looks more like comic book art, or a similar style.

Nice drawing, but if you were going for an anime style you failed miserably. I has a professional US comic book artist style. Very generic Image/Wildstorm looking sort of style. So, yeah, it looks like Madureira or J Scott Campbell or any of 3 dozen other comic illustrators. Not to say it's bad, it's very professional, just not anime.

I agree that it doesn't look anime. And indeed more of an american comic style.
Anime is alot less realistic and has other proportions.

I don't think it looks like Joe Madureira's stuff at all... His stuff is out of proportion, and really wild. Yours has the wild flavor, but is in proportion. Nice work, ten thumbs up. Looks like some stuff I've done.

Yes, it's kinda anime style. I think that professional US comic book artist style is totally based on japanese work. Manga, as you know.

These new generation of comic drawners like Joe Madureira, Adam warren, and many others got their inspirations on anime, believe. Only adapted the style to an american way of life, reducing the size of the eyes and putting some kilometers to the female legs. Look Akira, Evagelion, and so many others japaneses mangas. It's equal!!!!!!



I Used photoshop 7 to paint the entire image.
