Not to get OT, but I noticed the R1 in your sig. Do you have 1? I modeled last years R1, I also have a majority of the parts of this 1 modeled. I'm in the market for 1, and have a couple of questions if you do own. :)

Ive ridden the R1 many a times but, own a R6 just becuase Im a bit throttle happy, there are different riding styles or comforts some folks like the low end midrange torque of the R1, and dont want the sluggish ness of the R6 Low-end midrange. I can deal with that by keeping the RPM, whigh wich is more of my style. ;)
If I had purchased the R1 I think my high RPM twist of the wrist would have gotten me in trouble, but thats just me. :D

Cool Nando! I've been riding a CBR600f4, and a ZX9 on occasion, I was just wondering whether I should go for an 01 or 02 R1. My biggest determining factor is physical size of the bike, I'm 6' 3". The new R1 looks a bit smaller than last years, love the look of that new liquid silver though!:)

ya the New R1 wheelbase seems smaller compared to older ones from intitial release, though I havent measured it yet. Ooh ya that Silver color is Sweeeet I was thinking of trading in my R6 for the New Fuel injected Silver too, but well my red Dianese leathers wont match with the Silver or blue so I might hold out for a bit.
:D

PS: check out the specs on both seems the wheelbase is the same
