Hey all,

I thought I'd post this to see if anyone has any suggestions. It's a concept design/composite of something i am working on.

The idea is a first-person point of view of a girl who is almost totally blind on her way to a job interview. I won't get into the details of the story so much but here's a screen. She is on the bus on the way to the interview. The idea is that during the actual shot only the parts of the bus that are making noise will be visible.

I shot POV camera shots and tore them apart in Shake.

I am especially interested to know if it communicates "im on a bus" to the viewer.

C&C welcome....

hey it looks cool, though i think it'd be more interesting if she only sees things that are, for example, warm or making sounds, as you say. the image at the bottom looks like you just toned down the original and cranked up the level/contrast or something, which to me looks not that exciting or, say, doesn't give me any feeling of her struggling as being blind (or half-blind?). this is, i think it'd be nice if she also sees something that actually don't exist, but shape something so that the audience would go, "what the hell is that thing she's looking at?" - then you can reveal it as a next shot or something. i just don't wanna see you doing the same effect from daredevil. good luck.

Ah yes. This is the promo shot for a booklet for the show its going into. This is for an installation in a show. The point is more about the sound...it's all mastered in 5.1 hyper-realistic (think eraserhead) track...and the visuals are just there more or less to support it.

But this shot shows everything "lit up" so that it makes sense in a still form. :)

I'll post an animated version soon.
