I think it looks great. Only thing I notice is the head looks a lil too greyish to me, but i understand if it was completely balack you might not see the modeling.

Great job!

Could we see some more expressions!

Hello !

Thankx for the feedback... !

I'm working on new expressions and thinking in how I'm going to make the animation.... probably next week I'm going to have this decided !

looks good, but the beak is a bit exagerated if you ask me. aside from that, it looks dang good :)

Nice job. My one critique would be the beak as well. It looks as if it is melting down on the left side. Look at the top picture of image 2. Other than that, nice work. :bounce:

Nice work but I thin he's a tad too distorted. Perhaps he could hit some keys in an animation to this point but in a still frame he looks a bit twisted. ;)

And they said that you couldn't get CGCharacters to look like their line drawn counterparts...

Even though it still needs work, I think you've pretty much dispelled that little myth :D

You might try giving him a very dark blue specular highlight... I think that might get the colour where it needs to be.

Thankx for the critics ! :bounce:

When I started the Duck... I decided don't copy it from paper or original proportions... Because It's very hard to give the real proportions of a cartoon em CG.... I also had manual drawing experience... and the point is when you animate it, you cheat a lot the proportions so you caracter looks great always...

The beak is the problem... the daffy Duck about 8 or 9 years ago, had a stupid long beak... today, it's a much more proportional size...

So I decide to draw it from my imagination... Another problem was the color... his body is black and would be impossible to see the details with a matte color.... A material with high specular levels would give to the Duck a varnish look... So I used something that, with the GI, could give a gray look.:scream:

:) The Beak is not melting...But I also had this impression... The beak , as his browneyes had a lot of expressions... And as I said, in CG is very dificult to make a cartoon character look great in all positions... Thankx a lot !

Thankx a lot !
