Hi,

I have recently rendered out a .mov file in a 800x600 resolution. I only need to top 1/3 of this video to because that is the only area where anything takes place - but want to keep the video at the same ratio.

Is there a way I can use Adobe After Effects to crop the video to the size I want? - I have access to Adobe After Effects @ uni. I have never used it before though, so am a complete beginner.

Any help would be much appreciated.

M

Create a new comp with the size you want, for example 400x300, drop the footage into it and position it so you see the are you wish to keep, and render it, hit ctrl-M to add it to the renderqueue. Hope thats clear enough ;)
