Yes, I've used the search option and all i find is the Alienware competition thing.

My question: Are AlienWare computers good for animation careers. If not , please describe in as much detail as possible, what features on a computer are neccesary for animation, thanks a lot for your time.....

You know it is quite simple to limit the search to the Technical and Hardware Forum:

It has indeed been discussed before:

If money is no object, then it doesn't really matter who makes it. What matters is the components you put in it. CPU - RAM - Graphics.

Yeah, if you're not gonna build it, go with Boxx. They have incredible support and make quality machines. I mean, look, the guy posted in a thread for you to call him - they are very dedicated to their customers.

while Ive never bought a OEM or a computer someone else has integrated
Boxx does have a very good rep ;)

to answer your question you want sheer processing power for a rig that is going to do rendering, ideally dual Xeon or Opteron class processors, lots and lots of RAM, and a workstation class graphics card

most of the Alienware line is aimed at gaming performance
not workstation performance

but there is a considerable difference in price between the two classes,
and a good gaming rig will get the job done, just slower
