Great speed session topic, m@!
I can't believe I'm the first to post something in such a fun thread :)
Well, here's something I made tonight called "Wind Up Robot," which is meant to be a cheap little wind up toy:

Click here to see a third textured render (http://www.artofinterpretation.com/images/cgtalkspeedsession-winduprobot3-byrjt2004.jpg).
Click here to see the model without textures (http://www.artofinterpretation.com/images/cgtalkspeedsession-winduprobot-nontextured-byrjt2004.jpg).
Click here to see a wireframe (http://www.artofinterpretation.com/images/cgtalkspeedsession-winduprobot-wireframe-byrjt2004.jpg).
This took about 25 minutes to make using mostly subsurfed and bevelled primitives. Created in and rendered with Blender 2.33 (internal renderer) with raytracing and ambient occlusion active for the textured renders.
I hope you like it, and certainly I hope to see many more models! :)

Hmmm...
I noticed this thread was revived, and...
oh nooooooo, my toy cars that I posted a few weeks back have disappeared :(
I guess it was the server crash mentioned earlier in this thread.
Well here they are again :)

Modeling time was around 2 hours (texture/render time not included). Blender 2.33 was used.
Well, I'm looking forward to the next topic! :)
(This wasn't the most recent one, "sci-fi/fantasy vehicles" was...)
