Hiyas, for my Visual Communication class I am designing a sports drink bottle, I am almost at the end of it, and I woulld like to submit the finished peice as a 3D render from 3Dsmax. I dont know where to start to make the texture for the bottle. It needs to have the plastic transparent look that Sport drink bottles have and possibly be able to see the liquid inside the bottle.
Can anyone help? Maybe you guys have some of your own remedys for this type of thing or could direct me towards some tutorials that could do the trick?

Thanks, LoZzA :)

Raytraced material for most flexibility/control.
Give it something nice to reflect. An HDR image usually is OK.
Use the Fresnel falloff to make it less reflective head-on.

A couple thoughts
