I am just starting out to learn partical systems and I was wondering what partical effects can do? I do have afterburn and I can make great looking clouds and smoke and balls of fire.

I guess I am mainly asking , besides afterburn what else can u do with particles.

Well you can do lots of things with particles...:) You may want to check out the PFlow thread here ; you'll get some idea of what peoiple are capable of doing with Max's particles.PFlow Thread (http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=114324)

The question may be..what 'can't' you do with particles. :P
