The open source 3d suite Blender has released version 2.33. This release includes improvements in rendering engine including ambient occlusion and new procedural texture types as well as bringing back the game engine, and creation of interactive 3D environments.

Yes! Finally.... the reason I bought into Blender in the first place was the real time game engine. Glad it's back now.
