Hey heres a Blair caricature I've modeled in maya with poly's with the idea of using the low-poly geo to drive a sub-d version at render time.

I'm looking for some crits on the modeling, either on form of the model and it's effectiveness of the caricature and the edge loops etc...

There's a Bush head posted on cgtalk also that you could crit me on too if you've got the time. It would be great

Cheers, and don't spare my feelings with the crits :)

I would make the face narrower... it's much to wide for TB...

Being pretty green in modeling I can only comment on the caricature part, and i think it is pretty good because you can recognise Blair very well. Uhm you wrote bush but it says blair on the picture and imho he looks like Blair.

If you want to see more versions of evil blair, check out these cartoons on the guardian, the cartoonists really don't spare him there: http://www.guardian.co.uk/cartoons/archive/stevebell/0,7371,337764,00.html
Especially this one is nasty: http://www.guardian.co.uk/cartoons/martinrowson/0,7371,1097095,00.html

Maybe these cartoons can give you some ideas :)

I rather like this one: http://www.guardian.co.uk/cartoons/stevebell/0,7371,996354,00.html

shows off the narrower head that makes it look more like Mr. Tuberculosis himself ;)

Yeah, steve bell's great, i've actually looked at his caricatures of Blair a lot. i like the crazy eyes, I'll do something similar once the over all structure is sorted.

The high forehead's all good to, but i'm gonna give him a really wild front tuff of hair, kinda like a horse's mane.

I'll narrow his head a bit and get back to you.
Here's some other caricatures i've collected:

Thanks for the heads up Admiral, I'm sure U know Blair better than me, being from England - too well no doubt. ;)

So I've made him a bit thinner, i think u're right, plus it makes his ears look bigger with out actually making them bigger - which is always good.

Heres a update, i've mirror geo and tweaked bits so it's not symetrical. I've also taken the chin back a bit and pulled out that lower lip as per comments. what do yall think?
