just picked up a d-link 524 wireless router (http://www.dlink.com/products/?pid=316) and set it up. as of right now, i have both computers, online, and talking to each other. mission accomplished...
but how do i know it's working?
i still have my zone alarm pro running, so doing those online port scans come up negative [the good negative]. can anyone bounce me to a site that talks about the settings more [the manual that came with the router just says what they are, not there importance or advance settings].
i went through and added a MAC filter so only my two computers can access my network. also, i don't have any wireless yet [plan to add later]. i went through and think i turned off all the settings for wireless [even took the antenna off].
basically, i need something that TEACHES me about these settings, i wanna learn about what i'm clicking on.
