The eyes are too big all around. Close them a little and make them less wide. Hair could be textured. The upper lip is too thick. Where the nose meets the face on the underside seems to be too big and curl around too much.
You are almost there, don't say she is ugly and give up just yet.

Excellent work, far better than the generic female heads we see around here. She has plenty of character, and i only hope you'll fix up her hair and do some more tasteful renders of her. :)

Hello 3Ants,
Very expressive. I've no complaints with the hair - create whatever your imagination desires.
Excellent !!

Texture the hair for sure! You're selling yourself short if you don't, as you obviously have the skills. Also you might want to try adding more depth to the eyes by having a look at the 'PIXAR EYES!! Please look.................................................' thread currently on this board, you'll find ways in there to add more character and life to what is already an accoumplished piece of work.
The facial poses are great, although her eyes do appear to be open too wide in some of them.
Seems a shame to get that far without finishing the last few steps. Finish the hair and you'll get that last star!

Personally, I kind of like the very stylized hair, but I would add some sort of material to it, or at least more interesting shader type. The wink expression looks a little strange, maybe if you accentuate the side smirk of her lips a little more to make it more dramatic it will look more intersting and less akward. Very nice work though!
Nice dude , use shag hair or some other hair plugin to make the hair that would be really cool :buttrock:
ps : she isnt thats ugly

Great work! You have excellent skills. Like 'handyman' said, facial expressions are spot-on. She has so much character, and no, I don't think she's ugly at all.
I think the reason she looks so great is you've actually modelled a woman in 3D who's not drop-dead gorgeous. Can't really fault the modelling or textures so far.
I do, however, agree with doing something about the hair; the rest of your model looks so good, you letting it down if you don't. Even if you are going for a sort-of funky Japanese-style plastic hair, try and make it look less like untextured polys, and more like something real (I dunno, it's hard to explain what I see in my head.)
One last question: What app are you using? Looks possibly like Maya, but I could be wrong (hey, wouldn't be the first time.)

P.S. She looks slightly asian... Is this intentional, or is it just me? Maybe that's why I like it so much : D
Can't wait to see more (and hopefully an animation, too, hehe)

Luuuuke, I am your step mother.
great expressions!
You have heard it many times already; the hair. Since the hair has that plastic look it really doesn't go well with the rest of the face which is more organic and realistic. There are several techniques to tackle hair but plugins are probably the more realistic... not the fastest tho.
good work.

I have to disagree with JFrench here; I think that his suggestion would make the person depicted more "beautiful", but would not make the model or the whole piece of art better - but still, it's a matter of taste.

First, I'd like to thank all your compliments and comments! I made the model by Maya 4.0. It took me 3 weeks. Yes, she's a Chinese girl. As for the hair, I didn't have much time to make it better. And, because I'm extremely busy in other works right now, I'll have to push it later, though I really want to improve it. Btw, I have a piece of facial animation with lip-sync, but I don't know how to upload it. Will anyone help me for this?

Great Job....
Excellent... the point is... the hair is ok ... the face is also ok... but... mixed they don't match... Try to give the hair a metallic look....so it will be less cartoonish... :)
