View Full Version : SHREK 3-D out May on DVD?!!?

Just caught an article on joblo.com, and jeeez, this was very hush hush - check the link below, to find a SHREK-3D dvd coming out this May, prior to shrek 2's release in the cinema. According tot he article, u can watch it in either 3d or 2d. Anyone know any more about this - would love to know if its worth buying! Who produced this spin off?

Look at the glasses he is wearing. Isn't it the same movie but you simply watch it with some funky glasses so it looks 3D?:shrug:

The bonus 3D disc is the 15-20 minute long short that you can go see at Universal Studios in Orlando or Hollywood. At least that is what I have been told.

It can also be read in the Shrek Comic Book that came out this past winter, I believe it was issue one in the three issue mini. It was published by Dark Horse and it has been collected in a Trade Paperback.

I personally love the idea of the attraction being released so you can view it at home. I wish they would of added the Back to the Future Ride to the Box Set DVD and same for the T2 3D.

Looks cool, but that DVD doesn't look to be for us animators... looks more like a reg kids version. Id like to see shrek 1 an 2 plus this 3d thing, with cool features, making ofs, etc! When that comes out, ill buy!! (never bought the shrek DVD this whole time - been waiting for number 2!!!)

The Shrek 3D ride was a real dissapointment for me. It looked fuzzy and the story was very weak. I liked a couple of 3D effects but overall it was bad.

I hope Shrek 2 is much better.
