Better lighting.....right now everything is evenly lit...and dosen`t give any depth or feeling to the picture.

better lighting

-by that i mean, create separation between objects and depth, like what is said above. Notice how in the 2nd picture everything is blending together.
When lighting, try and Create a mood, as if it was a SET for a film shoot, as unrealistic as that sounds, that is more real then your current lighting, which seems like (natural/normal/average) lighting, however its making the picture boring.

-Create a focus, and use depth of field if you need to, to simulate a camera lens, even slight blur using layers would create depth in your picture allowing viewers to focus on what you WANT them to see.

-Textures need to be bumped up a notch, using the same pictures for ur textures is creating a pattern that i can see, which distracts the viewers from thinkin it is real. Our minds are GREAT at detecting patterns, one of the toughest thing for you to destroy the patterns that is in your textures.
also some objects like the chair does not have adequet textures or layers or bump, for your scene to look real, everything must look real, and thats the hard part because you chose to put so many objects in your scene. one more thing, your room seems too clean, custom paint your textures and create dirt where there should be, or scratches on certain objects, that might have been worn etc.

also the color of the light is important, try playing around with that, try sunsets or dawn/dusk lighting. color of light will affect how your scene stand out and how the objects in your scene my look or feel :)

hope it helps.
