Hello everyone,

I am looking for 1-2 modeller and aniamtors for a professional-quality game project I am working on. Much of the code has been completed, with the remainder to be finished in early June with a late June release.

An e-commerce website is under development for distribution of the title and a marketing plan etc. is being developed, all timed to be ready by the completion of the title. We have a very solid business and marketing team behind this project.

The General Game Idea :

The best description I can come up with in a short space is that the game will be a non-violent competive sport game similar to a fighting game - but without the violence.

So a hybrid similar to " Monster Rancher " ( www.monsterrancher4.com ) and the various popular, fast-paced fighting games i.e. Tekken, One Must Fall etc.

Modelling and Animation :

As to the actual level modelling : there will be 10 creatures developed in cartoon/anime style i.e. a fox, a rabbit etc.

Each creature will have 2-3 textures/skins ( you will also need to make the textures and skin all chracters )

Polycount : ~ 2500-3000 polys

Now to the animations. Each creature will have a large ( relative to the average FPS ) set of animations ranging from walking to unique leaps and airborne turns.

We do not have concept art. So you will need to be creative ( we will of course be brainstorming alongside you ;) )

Some simple models for the game levels may also be the responsibility of the modeller i.e. trees, rocks

( Existing models may be used and found online and modified by re-texturing and/or tweaking of the model mesh ).

Software Requirements :

The 3D engine we are using currently supports complex bone animations but can only import from Max or Poser ( static and/or non boned models can be imported provided they are in .X or .3ds format ).

Compensation :

The level designer will receive a percentage of game revenue equal to that of other team embers ( including myself ).

Related Future Work :

We are looking at developing one or more future expansion pack(s) for the game after it is released. If so, we will offer up-front payment for the additional models and animations.
