View Full Version : My first 2D thread.
Pancreas 07-14-2002, 11:37 PM Hi, this is the first drawing iīve made with my new Wacom Intuos2 A5 tablet, ooooh, i love her so much  . I donīt know how i have lived without her. Iīm soooo happy :D i wanted to share my feelings with you, iīve tried to make a picture full of joy, summer, holydays and those stuff. Itīs completely made with my tablet and ps 6.0, taking as reference a sketch i saw some time ago on the net (i donīt remember the page).
[edit] The author of the sketch is Irsic, and this (http://www.design-culture.net/~isric/) is his webpage.

Weeeeee!!
She looks really sweet, No wonder you love her so much but keep in mind she is a picture... May cause some problems when you wanna go out with her, mary her or have children...
Anyway, nice work:thumbsup:

hmmm...if you could site your references that would really be nice.
especially since I was trying to go for that care free summer feeling. If your going to color peoples images, do some research into who drew them, or risk having major legal problems.
thanks-
Matt

I'm still a little pissed off. When I first saw this I thought it was a complete rip off (which, without my name present, it is).

It's Quite obvious that he/Pancreas used your pic as reference, or need I say paint over object. I think it's not nice of him to use your sketch without letting you know, I have had some problems with that in the past and it sux!!!!
He said that used a sketch from an artist he couldn't remember the name of, so he admitted it's not completely his own work. Another thing, I think there could have done far more worse things with it, I like the colouring and the sketch!

The lens-flare makes it extra classy.

Sorry Irsic, i really didnīt remember the page i got the sketch from, i really didnīt wanted to steal your work, believe me.
When i use someoneīs idea i always ask for permission (an example (http://www.soportalia.com/pancreas/Galeria_wip.htm)).
I got your image saved in my hd but i didnīt got your web adress.
I just wanted to try my new wacom in a simple drawing, and i found your sketch in my folder called "inspiration" (where i save pictures i like, not to copy, just to look at and get inspired). I didnīt paint over your sketch, i mean trace, thatīs sure, iīm not such a bastard.
Please forgive me, i didnīt have ill intentions, it was just an exercise (i havenīt post this image anywhere else, neither in my web).
