Why is it on the Disney website?
I thought the Incredibles was to be the first Pixar sans Disney production.

On the contrary, I believe it is one of the last with Disney. I think their contract lasts until 2006, right?

I think "cars" is that last movie in the current Pixar/Disney contract.

Yep, Cars is the last one. Based on number of movies alone in the contract this would have been the last one, but the contract says that sequels aren't counted in the total amount, so Toy Story 2 didn't count.

I hope that a other teaser/trailer will show a different kind of humour cause this kind of humor is not for me.

I hope not cause the humor is just fine. And judging from the reaction of the audience i saw it with , they are on the right track :)

Do you guys think Pixar will be home of one thousand hits, or will they eventually have one dud in the batch? Will someone mistake lemon juice for sugar in Pixar's recipe one year that will bring about mass pucker-lips in theaters? Can it happen?

I've wondered that myself: how long can Pixar keep it up?
My hunch is that as long as Lasseter, Jobs, and Catmull are still there, things will stay golden. It just seems impossible to think that with all the amazing talent at Pixar, that they could produce a lemon.

Pixar should get Gary Numan to do the theme music for "Cars."
